Along with our great wine selection at Star of Texas Liquor & Wine we are introducing
some new selections to our store which you definitely need to try. Any of these wines
will make you and your guest happy!
Protocolo Blanco from Spain is a great wine to serve at parties with fish, BBQ’s or sitting
poolside. This is a very light and refreshing wine that’s a cross between a Pinot Grigio &
Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is a must to try.
Stonecap Merlot from Columbia Valley is velvety and smooth with rich flavors of red
berry, plum, and ripe cherry, highlighted with notes of mocha and spice. This wine is
great with with veal, grilled salmon or cheese. Delicious!
LaLinda “Unoaked” Chardonnay is for those folks who want something a little different
from the “Oaked” wine, but get the full body of a chardonnay. LaLinda is a delicate
brilliant yellow color with green hues. Intense fruity aromas of pear, green apple and
white peach. This wine is fruity and fresh with crisp acidity. This is one of my personal
favorites.
Finca Copete Chardonnay from Argentina is a nicely focused apple and pear notes
follow through to a lightly buttered finish. This delicious wine is a must to serve.
14 Hands Hot to Trot - This Washington state red blend opens with generous aromas
of creme de cassis and sweet blackberries. Dark fruit flavors are joined by notes of
wild huckleberries and a subtle pie crust nuance. This is a easy drinking wine with any
meal. Cheers!
